Merry Christmas!

I can't believe it's already Christmas! Funny how life slips away and our blog gets ignored. Since school lets out in a few days, I will try my hardest to post some new pics [in my free time.] We are about to get Shay and Dresden is VERY excited!!! He can't wait to see his big sis~! Ok so here's the story behind these 2 videos...I had gone to get food w/ Jacey at the beginning of the game. When I came back, Rob said he was taking the kids to get sno-cones. Lil did I know that while I was gone, Rob was approached by a lady (in charge of the Entertainment during innings) at the game who had asked if Dresden could run w/ the Hawk at the bottom of the 1st inning. So after they had been gone awhile, I began to wonder what was taking them so long. Just then, I hear a man talking & see him walking out onto the field with Humphrey the Hawk and announcing that Dresden would be racing him around the bases. Then I looked down and saw all 3 of them on the field! I had NO NOTICE to get the camera ready so I immediately starting filming what I could, never having a chance to zoom in. The first clip on the left is my immediate reaction...the second clip on the right is after I tried zooming in but lost some of the action. Dres had almost made it to the 3rd base when he took a shortcut and headed straight for the pitcher...as he was practicing his pitching! NOT GOOD! But Dres was oh so cute and I was so delightfully surprised! Sitting in the stands alone and listening to the crowd around me was priceless! All I could think was "Ya that's my boy!" Thanks for the surprise love!

Days of Summer

For some reason, my laptop won't let me download pics on here...I'm still playing around with it.

Right now our summer days are gifted by the presence of Jacey, now 11, visiting us from Ohio. Dres is on cloud nine and loving every minute with his big sis! We have been spending hours at Barney's pool, (thank you Barney!!!), got away to a cabin in the woods where we just spent quiet time as a family playing cards and listening to the quiet, (thank you Nana Goose!) and Jacey along with the neighbor girl, Anissa are enjoying their girl time together. After our next door neighbors moved away, blessing us with many of their belongings, Dres has found a new love for the gameboy! It's been fun listening to his vocabulary become more clear and extended. His latest thing to say is, "Mama, I have to tell you a se-crit!" I say "ok." He then whispers in my ear, "I love you." MELTS MY HEART!!! everytime~ along the with the occasional, "Mama, you are pretty!" Stinker gets me everytime!

O MY GOSH!

I can't believe here it is July and my last post was in March. Rob was in the middle of battling kidney stones/infections again and in/out of surgeries. Life was quite the whirlwind.

Now that summer is here, Rob is on top of the world with his health, doing much better! We have Jacey visiting from Ohio and Dresden is in heaven! I shall find some time to post pics here hopefully very soon!
